Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy Statement

Ryder Mail, and its subsidiaries (collectively “RM”) respects the privacy concerns of all users. Protection of personal and sensitive information is paramount. This Privacy Policy discloses what type of information is collected, the method used to collect it and how RF utilizes the information to better serve all interested parties.

The Information We Collect

RM gathers, analyzes and/or stores personal information generally by way of four different sources: 1) the personal information voluntarily submitted by visitors when using or registering to use our services; (2) the personal and contact information visitors voluntarily provide when participating in contests, sweepstakes and/or other promotions; (3) through merchandise purchase or pre-order transactions; and/or (4) by analyzing data through mechanisms that identify site usage, browser types, IP servers, etc. RM strives to provide our visitors with information relevant to their particular desires, needs and/or concerns. The information we gather helps us to better serve our purpose.

Collection of Personal Information from Children under Thirteen

The RM website is not aimed at nor intended for children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of 13 years, please do not use the RM website. Our website does not accept registration from children under the age of thirteen. Every user hereby agrees that all information you provide, including but not limited to age, shall be truthful and correct. RM does not purposefully or knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of thirteen.

General Data

General data includes information about you such as your name, address, email, and preferences. This information is generally gathered when you voluntarily submit the information to RM for purposes of, including but not limited to, registering for newsletters and/or contests or because you wish RM to provide you with our products, services or information. Such information allows RM to personalize your experience and helps RM better understand the demographics of our audience.

The Way We Use Information

We use the information you provide about yourself or others to complete the transaction for which the information is intended. Such transactions may include: administering a service, such as email; completing an order; replying to support requests; or contacting you if you have granted us permission to do so. Except as provided in this Privacy Policy, we do not share this information with outside parties without your permission except to the extent that is necessary to administer the services we offer our Clients or to comply in responding to subpoenas, court orders or other legal proceedings.

From time to time, we also use the information you provide about yourself or others to inform you of additions or improvements to the RyderMail.net services as well as conduct member surveys in order to improve our services. These communications will only be sent to the administrative account.

Our Commitment to Data Security

RM uses the Security Socket Layer, an industry standard security protocol for encrypting sensitive information.

There are two ways in which sensitive information (e.g. credit card numbers) are obtained. When a visitor makes a purchase, his/her information is sent directly to a third party authorization center and they relate to RM whether to proceed with the transaction. The information is not at all stored in our system. The second way is when a visitor pre-orders merchandise. In this case, the information is sent to a non-public server and stored until the transaction is complete. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures reasonably designed to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Spam Prevention

We are concerned about controlling unsolicited commercial e-mail. We will not sell, lease or rent any address lists to any third parties. While we continue to actively review and implement new technology, such as expanded filtering features, there is no currently available technology that will totally prevent the sending and receiving of unsolicited e-mail.

Revisions to Privacy Policy

By using the RM website, you signify your agreement to this Privacy Policy, as it may be amended and/or revised at any time. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not use the RM website. RM reserves the right to change and/or amend this policy at any time without notification, which RM may provide to you by any reasonable means including, but not limited to, posting the revised policy on the RM website. Your continued use of the RM website subsequent to changes to the Privacy Policy shall mean that you accept and agree to the revisions.
